Orthodontist
Dr. Sam Daher graduated from McGill University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following six years of dedicated practice in general dentistry, Dr. Daher pursued advanced education, obtaining a specialty degree in Orthodontics from the Université de Montréal.
With a profound passion for the profession, Dr. Daher excels in providing exceptional care to each patient, valuing personal connections over mere dental procedures. An inherent educator, Dr. Daher warmly welcomes inquiries, whether they stem from online research or family advice, demonstrating a commitment to patient understanding and well-being.
Dr. Charif Haddad
Dentist
Dr. Charif Haddad, a compassionate dentist born in Syria, has dedicated over 15 years to dentistry, specializing in orthodontics. After graduating from Al Baath University in 2003, he established a successful clinic in his hometown. Seeking further expertise, he pursued orthodontics in France, gaining valuable experience in reputable hospitals. Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, he continued his professional journey in Saudi Arabia, where he addressed diverse dental challenges.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Haddad is a devoted husband and proud father, prioritizing quality time with his family. His photography hobby allows him to appreciate life’s simple joys and capture the world’s beauty.

My name is Yara, and I joined this community in November 2022. I graduated from Business Health in Calgary in 2018 and am originally from Hama in Syria. I have a wonderful son who brings me immense joy. Although I love dogs, I don’t currently have any pets. Apart from dentistry, I have a passion for art, playing the piano, dancing, and improving my skills in tennis and squash.
It’s funny that I ended up in dentistry despite my background in health science. In the past, I have volunteered as an interpreter and translator. I find great pleasure in working out and connecting with others. One of my favourite quotes is, “Reality is a reflection of your inner thoughts, so start from within.

Nagina earned her Dental Assistant certification at SAIT. She joined the Destination Dental team in September 2023. She enjoys comforting our patients and watching them leave our office with a confident smile. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 wonderful children.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Hello, my name is Jhenel. I am an RDH at Destination & Dental Wellness. I graduated from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Aux. Before going into hygiene school, I was a dental assistant for 2 years. I have 2 wonderful corgis at home that I love and adore especially after a long day at work. I was born in the Philippines and I moved to Canada at the age of 8. My favourite hobby at the moment is travelling and trying out new restaurants with good company. I have been trying out new hobbies this past year and I’ve discovered my love for concerts and camping with friends and family in the summer. In the winter, I recently tried snowboarding and ice skating. I learned after falling off the hill about 20 times, snowboarding is definitely not for me

Kaur holds the position of Admin at Destination Dental and joined the team in September 2023. Born in Calgary, Alberta, she enjoys shopping and sports during her free time, with badminton being her favourite activity. Kaur used to volunteer at the Foothills Hospital.
When asked about the best part of working in Dentistry, she expressed her enjoyment in working with patients, aiding in their oral health improvement, and the opportunity to learn something new every day.
